Brain Health Startup Pitch Event by AgeTech Collaborative

The presentation highlighted the importance of startups in advancing the healthcare system, especially in terms of elder care. Danielle Duplin introduced the Startup Pitch Fest for Innovation, hosted by AARP and the Age Check collaborative. The judges for the event were from various sectors in the health tech community and included experts from the fields of machine learning, data science and medical technology. The startups that presented during the event included WalkWise, Kota Health, Molecular You, Starling Medical and Grapefruit Health. These startups were founded with the goal of making aging easier by developing solutions for common problems faced by seniors such as mobility issues, the ability to monitor their health at home and addressing chronic conditions. Two awards were given at the end of the pitch event; Grapefruit Health won the Audience Choice Award, and Starling Medical was chosen as the overall winner by the judges.
