Making it Easier to Record with Abridge

There’s a lot to keep track of when you’re preparing for an appointment — from the sheer logistics of getting ready and waiting to be called back to the exam room, to remembering your question lists, updates, and more. At Abridge, one of our goals is to make prepping for conversations with your doctor easier, in part by making it easy to record and follow through on those discussions. So today, we’re rolling out improved recording reminders designed to make it easy to remember to record with Abridge as soon as your appointment starts.

We built Abridge to be powerfully simple: Just hit record and get the details of your care at your fingertips — with our audio, transcripts, takeaways and more. Last fall, we introduced an easy way to remind you to use Abridge during appointments. But we wanted to take this feature further, because we’ve heard from people like you that something so simple can be easy to forget in the moment, when there are other things on your mind.

Starting today, you can schedule the date and time of all upcoming appointments, set your preferences, and choose to receive email, push, or SMS reminders designed to help you remember to record with Abridge. To give it a try, tap the calendar icon in the top right corner of your app, schedule a reminder, and we’ll take care of the rest. Now, there’s one fewer thing to remember in order to follow through on your health.

Give it a try next time you’re planning to use Abridge at an appointment, and as always, reach out at hello@abridge.com with your feedback.
